Can a virtual assistant help me?

You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. And no, I don’t have a magic wand.
But if you’ve got ADHD and you’re running a business (or just trying to keep the wheels from falling off daily life), then yes—a virtual assistant can help. Especially one like me, who understands ADHD inside out.
I don’t have ADHD myself—but I live in a house full of it. My husband and two boys keep me well-acquainted with the ADHD mind: the last-minute scrambles, the forgotten appointments, the emotional rollercoasters, and the brilliant ideas that sometimes get stuck in the fog. I see the patterns. I know the pitfalls. But here’s the difference: I don’t struggle with executive function the way you do.
I like repetitive tasks. I thrive on structure. I don’t mind doing the same thing every Monday or sending that fourth reminder. And that’s where the magic—not actual magic—happens. Your neurodivergent creativity + my neurotypical systems = a power duo.
This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about supporting you in the way that works for your brain.
Let’s meet three familiar types of ADHD chaos—and how I can help.
The individual: "Why can't I just get my life together?"
You're the one constantly sending apologies instead of RSVPs. You missed your friend's birthday. Again. You ran out of dog food. Again. The fridge is empty so you’re eating toast for dinner—again.
You meant to order the costume for dress-up day, but forgot. You meant to book the appointment, write the email, return the parcel—but the day disappeared in a blur of distractions. You feel embarrassed, disorganised, and exhausted. You’re not failing—you’re functioning without the executive support most people take for granted.
How I can help:
We’ll create reminder systems tailored to you. I’ll send gentle nudges, keep your calendar updated, and help automate boring-but-important tasks like weekly shopping or appointment booking. I also offer body doubling sessions, where we work side by side (virtually) to get through the “ugh” stuff together. Need accountability? I’ve got you. You still run the show—but I’ll help keep the wheels turning.
The founder: "I have the idea, but I’m drowning in the boring stuff"
You’ve got the vision, the energy, the creative spark. You’re the ideas person. But as soon as it comes to the processes, systems, HR, follow-ups, or documentation—you hit a wall. You’re already five ideas ahead and still haven’t followed through on the first one. The dopamine is gone, and what’s left is admin purgatory.
How I can help:
I take your swirling ideas and pin them down. I help you build simple, repeatable systems for onboarding, client communication, SOPs and task management. We can co-create them, or you can brain-dump and I’ll structure the mess. You stay in your creative flow, and I’ll quietly set up the scaffolding behind the scenes.
The CEO: "My inbox is a war zone and I’ve lost all focus"
You’re cc’d into everything. You’ve got 27 unread Slacks, a thousand unopened emails, and your calendar looks like an overbooked Tetris game. You’re constantly reacting instead of leading. You’ve lost sight of your priorities. You know you need deep focus—but your day is made of interruptions.
How I can help:
I’ll help you triage the noise. We’ll build a priority system so you’re not drowning in emails and can actually focus on strategy. I can manage comms, protect your calendar, and support you with time-blocking, decision follow-up, and regular check-ins. You’ll know what needs your attention—and what can safely wait.
Support, not a solution
I’m not a unicorn, and I’m not here to “fix” ADHD. That’s not the goal—and it’s not necessary.
What I do offer is practical support. Consistency. Systems. Accountability. Structure. A calm presence that doesn’t get overwhelmed when you do. ADHD doesn’t need to be cured—it needs to be understood and supported.
So no, I can’t make your executive dysfunction vanish. But I can make life and business feel a whole lot more manageable.
